In April, 2002 we contracted Standard Testing Labs to conduct a destructive study of several wheelie bar wheels. It should be noted that they would not test two wheels as mere observation indicated that the two wheels would fail.
The test involved a warm up which was 15 seconds at 15 mph at 400 psi. We chose 400 psi for both the warm up and the impacts as this would be far in excess of what a wheelie bar wheel would experience in racing conditions.
When open the Results Sheets, note that measurements of Lateral and Radial run out were recorded every 25 impacts up to a maximum of 100 impacts. Observe the "trueness" of each wheel.
Only one wheel made the full 100 impacts.............

NOTE: Mounting Fixture covered with melted "Polymer"

NOTE: This wheel is the same durometer as a Wheeleze, but without the additives that allow for compression, rebound and shear strength. As such, it too failed. This is more to making a "Wheeleze" than just polyurethane and durometer.
